I've fought the good fight with feelings of hypocrisy. I've had mental wars around imposter syndrome. I've sustained a barrage of chatter from the ego as it's questioned whether I'm really a "Life Coach" or a good one, one who deserves to use the label on his website or profile. I've been bombarded with criticism from followers when I make a once-in-a-blue-moon promotional post for my 10-module master course, requesting an energy exchange north of $500. I ask myself every day if I'm violating some spiritual code of ethics -- or my own soul's moral stance -- by requesting payment for my coaching work. And I get these questions every day from aspiring coaches and conscious content creators. Yet I keep landing on the same thing: you are not in energetic equilibrium (nor honoring what it means to be a fully-realized creator) if you are not being compensated for your heart's work. In this episode, I address this sticky problem, the problem so many seekers face when getting started in their own business pursuits. Should I walk away if I'm not creating income? Should I quit if I don't get clients? Am I following the wrong timeline if I can't attract business?
